Hi, my name is Richard Lake and I am the founder of Lake House Honey. Here at Lake House Honey, we not only love honey, but have a passion for helping the environment and the utmost respect for the busy worker bee. As soon as I learnt the importance of bees and their positive impact on the environment I was hooked and have been committed to keeping bees ever since. With the sponsorship and support from Jason at JCH we can keep a hive thriving, making honey and pollinating the local environment. 80% of flowering plants and 90% of the leading global crop types are pollinated by bees, highlighting the importance of looking after and respecting these vital insects, which without, our eco-system would rapidly decline.
