The Minister of Public Administration and Interior, Elías Bendodo, announced this Saturday, October 31, in Marbella that the Junta de Andalucía has approved the project to expand the Costa del Sol Hospital, an initiative in which the investment of 75 million euros is planned.
The Junta de Andalucia has approved the project
While this project is being developed, the Costa del Sol Health Agency, which manages the hospital, is reforming the emergencies department of the Costa del Sol Hospital and the outpatient area, which will be accompanied by new equipment to increase its capacity and alleviate the greater pressure on care, most recently caused by the pandemic.
An investment of 75 million euros
Bendodo visited the site and supervised other actions that are being carried out in this hospital with Covid funds allocated by the Ministry of Health and Families for the fight against the coronavirus. In total, there are more than 20 improvement projects for almost three million euros.
This is excellent news for the overall wellbeing and health infrastructure of the greater Marbella area.
